18.32: According to The Times, Arsene Wenger has denied any interest in Lazio's Mauro Zarate but he did say: "We will be in the market regardless of the result tomorrow."
18.07: El-Hadji Diouf has been talking up a move to Rangers, where he spent time on loan last season. Everyone's favourite midfielder told the BBC: "I would definitely go back for him (Ally McCoist) and for the fans. I don't want to play for Blackburn any more. 17.59: The father of Wolfsburg's Diego is at the Vicente Calderon to negotiate the terms of his son's move to Atletico Madrid, according to AS.
17.44: This has appeared on the Russian club's website regarding Eto'o: "Today an agreement was reached between the football clubs, Anzhi and Inter, for the transfer of Samuel Eto'o. The terms of the transfer are completely agreed on both sides."
17.13: Looks like Samuel Eto'o's move to Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala is on the verge of being confirmed. According to Gazzetta dello Sport the €25 million euros deal will make the Cameroon striker the world's best-paid player on €20.5 million a season after tax.
17.08: Joseph Yobo's drawn out move to Fenerbahce looks set for a conclusion, according to the Liverpool Echo. A deal worth a reputed £2m was close a few weeks back but was delayed because Yobo shares representatives with John Obi Mikel, and they were involved in the negotiations to release the Chelsea star's father after he was kidnapped in Nigeria.
16.52: More bad news for Arsenal: looks like Eden Hazard will be staying at Lille. "Eden will not be leaving this season," Lille boss Frederic Paquet says. "We are aware of interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe but we are not prepared to sell."
16.34: James McCarthy - the target of much speculation in recent weeks - has been explaining his decision to sign a new five-year deal with Wigan: "I owe a big debt of loyalty to the club and the gaffer for giving me the chance to prove myself in the Premier League, and I am really pleased to be able to sign this deal," he said.

16.02: Sao Paulo midfielder Casemiro wants a move to Roma. "I have always dreamed of playing for the Giallorossi,” he said in Corriere dello Sport. “If there's an opportunity for me to join Roma I'd like to find a solution where all parties involved are happy.”
15.44: Bolton boss Owen Coyle is quite clearly keen to bring in David Ngog and Dedryck Boyata but he said: "Until I have got everything cut and dried, I am loath to mention individuals. There are bigger clubs than Bolton out there who could come and steal your thunder. Those two are both very good players. Whether we are able to bring them to the club, time will tell."
15.28: BREAKING NEWS Sky Sports News is reporting that Chelsea have now made an official bid for Porto's Alvaro Pereira. He can play at left back or left midfield, and you'd have to assume his primary role would be the latter at Chelsea.
15.21: Blackburn boss Steve Kean has confirmed he is close to signing centre-back George John from Major League Soccer side FC Dallas. Rovers look set to pay a fee for John of around £1.2 million to the MLS, which holds the player's contract.
15.13: Emmanuel Frimpong doesn’t seem to be too impressed by Samir Nasri’s move to Manchester City. First, he tweeted that “Money is the Roots of all Evil”.
