23.54: One last entry for today, via A Bola in Portugal: Alvaro Pereira is looking to force a move to Chelsea after Porto rejected two bids. The first was €18 million - which Porto president Pinto da Costa said he “rejected in 30 seconds” - and the second was €25 million.
It appears no one expected the Porto president to be this difficult about it, but he’s upset with Andre Villas-Boas for leaving and is demanding the €30 million release clause is paid in full as a result. Pereira, therefore, is having to try to force his way out, not unlike Luka Modric at Tottenham.
23.42: According to France Football, Aston Villa midfielder Jean Makoun arrived in Athens today to meet with Olympiakos. He’s agreed to the move, apparently, and will undergo a medical on Monday. It will be an initial loan with an option to make it permanent for €4 million.

He's an extraordinary player and will contribute greatly to the club. He's had his share of injury problems, but he's going to have a great year."
23.15: CSKA Moscow striker Vagner Love fancies a move to Porto, but their first bid has been rejected,” the Brazilian told Globoesporte. "Porto made an offer, which was considered low by CSKA. There is no news so far, but we will wait for this next week. I have been here for seven years - it would be good to breathe new air.”
22.49: Juventus striker Amauri is keen to join PSG. “My agents told me there is something brewing with Paris Saint-Germain,” he told L’Equipe. “It’s pleasing, although Leonardo hasn’t called me yet. Juve let me know I am not part of their plans, but I will only leave for a side on the same level. Otherwise, I’ll stay until January. PSG are a great club and I am interested.”

Let’s see what develops.”
21.09: Tony Pulis is planning on a busy few days between now and the close of the transfer window on Wednesday: "I am hoping to bring in three, four or maybe even five players if all goes according to plan, while a couple who have not played regular first team football of late may be leaving, but as ever, I won't say anything until the deals are done," he said.

His agent Beppe Bozzo said: “Inter are interested in a loan with an option to buy, but this formula is not particularly appreciated by President Lotito. He will not accept a loan deal. The real negotiations have to take place in a different way. If people want something to happen, then it will.”
19.52: More on Daniele De Rossi's proposed move from Roma to Manchester City. The Italian club's new owner Thomas Di Benedetto told Sky Sport Italia: "Daniele is a Roman and a Romanista 100 per cent, a great player, an international and a great figurehead for us.

16.32: Roma's CEO Claudio Fenucci has told Adnkronos of the bid for Simon Kjaer: "We had a deal with Wolfsburg for Simon Kjaer for a loan with the right of a permanent switch, but then the conditions have changed and so we decided not to ratify the agreement. Roma's sporting director, Walter Sabatini will consider the player an option, but only if Wolfsburg come back on our terms and conditions. Then we will be ready to continue and close the deal."
16.02: Samir Nasri has revealed Leonardo - the former Inter coach and now PSG sporting director - tried to prise him away from Arsenal. "I spoke with Leonardo. He already wanted me at Inter. "The bottom line is, we don't have to be taking poor offers. I would probably want more for Gary than would be accepted but it still has to be a good offer. I think Gary could play for anybody, so my valuation would be higher than anybody's."
