Q & A Forum

With United heading into a humdinger of a week many of you are posting in with questions about how we will fare. I have put some answers up for you guys here and if anyone else would like to post a question please do so in the comments section below.
I shall do my best to answer as soon as possible.

Come on you reds!

Whom would want in the finals? Jose & Ronaldo reunion with us or Barca revenge? Vishnu

Mark’s Response

It doesn’t really matter. Whoever it is we should be delighted to be in a final. My personal feeling is that Fergie would want to rectify 2009’s result against Barca.

Question for you, how do you rate Carrick? I know you've given him some flack in the past but how do you see him now?
Savad

Mark’s Response

I’ll come clean here, I am not a huge Carrick fan. He has put in some very respectable performances for us, the Roma 7-1 and more recently in Chelsea, but only a handful. More often than not I can hardly even tell if he is on the field.

I am new to watching, following Enlish soccer. What is the difference between all of these leagues? How do you get in/out of a league? Why do teams play in fa cup and different leagues? are there playoffs? or does best team win league?
Newtothis

Mark’s Response

Please check Andy K’s answer in the comments section to the other blog. In addition, Aston Villa correspondent Jerrad Peters has just released an excellent book answering all of your questions and a whole heap more.

What would be your game plan for Barca in the final, given our no-show in 2009?
Damian

Mark’s Response

If I knew the answer to this one I’d be earning £7million a year! Quite simply I don’t know.
Fergie is up to something though. Our style of play in Europe has been phenomenal this year and he has made a couple of insinuations about ‘putting the Roma final right’. I think he has got a plan.

Please post any further questions in the comments section below.

Cheers

Mark
