MLS: Dramatic Union comeback earns point

Philadelphia Union hit back from 4-1 down to earn a point from an entertaining match against New England Revolution in Major League Soccer's Eastern Conference.

AJ Soares opened the scoring and when Rajko Lekic and Monsef Zerka made it 3-0 by the 26th minute, Revolution were in the driving seat.

Although Roger Torres pulled a goal back in the 28th minute, Benny Feilhaber's 34th-minute goal had the visitors in control on half-time.

However, Freddy Adu gave Philadelphia hope with a 56th-minute goal and Sebastien Le Toux reduced the gap to a single goal from the penalty spot with 10 minutes remaining, before equalising in the 90th minute.

The result lifts Philadelphia up to third place, five points off pacesetters Columbus Crew, while New England's consolation is that they moved off the bottom of the table - they are now above Toronto on goal difference.
